RNLA airmobile troops of Charlie-coy (13th Battalion RSPB AASLT) Task Force URUZGAN fire their 81mm mortars on 18th June 2007 at “The White Compound” in CHORA, province of URUZGAN in order to support the defence of CHORA city by C-coy and Afghan National Police against numerous attacking Taliban forces.
During the morning of the following day C-coy launched, together with reinforcements from 42nd BG, the Afghan National Army, Australian units and local tribesmen a counter attack in CHORA-valley (OPERATION TROY).
